President - Shelby Edwards

Shelby joined WWW in 2006. She began flying in 1987 when she and her husband, Jeff, purchased their first airplane - a Beechcraft "V" tailed Bonanza - and restored it from the ground up. Shelby went on to receive her instrument and commercial raitings (single engine land). Shelby and Jeff built two experimental airplanes - a Lancair IVP and a Lancair Evolution and operate AvSafe, an aircraft accident reconstruction business. She hopes someday to find the time to complete her seaplane rating. Her other interests include gardening and speed walking.

Vice President - Valerie McPherson

Valerie joined WWW in April of 2011. She has received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Baylor University in Waco, TX. She is currently in the process of getting her private pilot's certification at St. Louis Regional Airport through Aaero Aviation Services in East Alton, IL. Valerie's other interests include rollerblading with her two Siberian Huskies, motorcycle riding, and playing tennis.

Treasurer / Membership Director - Eve Cascella

Eve is a flying enthisiast with a commercial certificate and instrument rating. Just a few years after earning a BS in Education from Purdue University, Eve's full-time career became volunteer work and raising her four children to adulthood! Near the end of that career, she pursued a dream to earn her pilot's license and became HOOKED on flying! She currently owns a Cessna 172SP, is an active Young Eagle's pilot, and her goal is to become a flight instructor. Eve is an adventuresome person who enjoys learning and experiencing new things. She pursues an assortment of active sports, and she's recently learned the art of glass blowing, which she loves!

Secretary - LaVonne Deck

LaVonne took a buy out from a large corporation and started her own business which specializes in HR for small businesses. She tries not to let it interfere with her life which includes golf, glass blowing, listening and going to the opera, and now flying. LaVonne is a newly certified sport pilot!

Activities / Events Coordinator - William Camp

Bill Camp has brought good humor as a Women with Wings member for nearly ten years. He has taken ground school and loves 'plane' talk, but for now remains exclusively right seat ballast. Bill has previously served as Secretary on the Board, manager of the Girl Scouts Aviation Outreach, and active with other student programs. He has helped with event set-up, graphic design, and website development and truly loves any opportunity to be around aviation and his fellow WWWingers!
