The scholarships were awarded during the 3rd Annual St. Charles Service Pumpkin Drop.  It was a gorgeous day with many in attendance.  The 2011 Fall Scholarships for Women with Wings St. Louis Chapter went to Sarah Washington and Jennifer Ashley!

A little about the recipients:
Sarah Washington is a newly certified private pilot as of October 5th, 2011.  She wishes to continue her training with instrument, commercial, and instructor ratings.  Her goal is to become a jet pilot!

Jennifer Ashley is a student at St Louis University in pursuit of a PhD in Aviation Science with an emphasis in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience to better understand why accidents happen and work towards decreasing the accident rate.

Congratulations Ladies!  We fully support your aviation endeavors!
