Polly Vacher is a record-breaking female aviator
from the U.K. On her effort to circumnavigate the globe over the poles,
Ms. Vacher made a stop at St. Louis Downtown airport to visit her good
friend Diana Earhart. Women with Wings honored Polly with a shirt and we
washed her plane before a dinner at Oliver's. Later the chapter donated
to Polly's charity and our chapter's name was permanently affixed to
each wing of Polly's beautiful Piper Dakota. Visit Polly's website at

Members from the St. Louis 99's and Wings of Hope also helped make Polly's
plane picture perfect for her next leg of the adventure.
